Services

Iyengar Yoga

Iyengar Yoga is named after BKS Iyengar (Pune, India). The sequence of an Iyengar Yoga class is always different, in order to work and bring awareness and energy to different parts of our body and mind. Classes can be dynamic, restorative, therapeutic, static or intense. During a class sometimes props (like a block, belt, blankets, a chair) can be introduced. An Iyengar yoga teacher creates a safe environment to practise yoga and knows how to adapt the asanas to your needs.

Ashtaga Vinyasa Yoga

Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga is a style of yoga popularised by K. Pattabhi Jois. The style is energetic, synchronising breath with movements. The individual poses (asanas) are linked by flowing movements (vinyasas). In Ashtanga Yoga the repetition of the sequence is important; our teachers will adapt these series according to needs of the students.

Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra is a state of mind that oscillates between sleep and wakefulness and is induced by guided relaxation. Practitioners can sit or lie down to take advantage of this ancient technique. Originally formulated by the ancient Rishis, it aims at attaining self-realisation as well as deep rest in the body’s organs and systems.

Pranayama and Restorative

The different breathing techniques are part of the practice of yoga. This class is offered once a month. We work asanas in a restorative way that prepares our body and mind for the breath work.

Women’s Yoga

In a Women’s Yoga class our teachers offer precise guidance for women adapting the yoga practise to topics like menstruation, menopause, pregnancy, post-pregnancy, fertility problems or miscarriages.

Mindfulness

The ability to be present in the here and now is a healing state. We offer this class once a month and you will be guided through different meditation (dhyana), breathing (pranayama) and psychological techniques.

Private Yoga Classes

We recommend private classes if your time availability does not allow you to attend group classes, in case you wish to deepen certain aspects of your personal yoga practice or if you suffer from pain, specific symptoms, need rehabilitation or suffer from an illness that requires personalised care and monitoring. In all these cases please contact us and after a personal consultation we will advise you on the teacher that best suits your needs.
